libewf-dbg software package provides library with support for Expert Witness Compression Format (debug), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libewf-dbg
libewf-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libewf-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libewf-dbg *
You will get with libewf-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
